Sunday, November 20, 2:00 p.m.: Lost in Time, a trio of OCRS members, will perform at the Newport Public Library. The program, entitled "Puzzles, Tricks, and Illusions," was first performed for the Atrium concert series in Eugene in June 2011.

Sunday, December 4, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.: Lost in Time will play at the Lincoln County Historical Society Holiday Festival and Open House.

Friday, December 16, 7:30 p.m.: OCRS will perform at First Presbyterian Church in Newport. The concert will benefit Food Share of Lincoln County. We suggest a donation of cash or non-perishable food at the concert.

Friday, January 6, 7:30 p.m.: We will perform the same program, benefiting the same organization, in Lincoln City at St. Peter the Fisherman Lutheran Church.

 


The Oregon Coast Recorder Society presents an annual spring concert and concerts around the winter holidays, including concerts to benefit local food pantries. Here are programs from our June 2009 concert and our June 2010 concert.

Lost in Time, a small consort of OCRS, plays at OCRS concerts and throughout the year by request at events such as weddings, garden tours, festivals, and fundraising events. Lost in Time in a Siletz garden

All OCRS concerts are free of charge; for the food pantry benefits we request that you bring a donation of cash or non-perishable food.

 

Recent concerts:

Saturday, June 11, 2011: Lost in Time trio performed in the Atrium series in Eugene. This concert's title was "Puzzles, Tricks, and Illusions."

Sunday, June 19, 2011, 3:00 p.m. at Newport's Visual Art Center: ORCS's annual spring concert.

June 26, 2011: Two members of Lost in Time played for the Secret Garden Tour at a garden overlooking Alsea Bay. The Garden Tour is a fundraising event for Samaritan House, which provides emergency shelter for homeless families.

Saturday, November 5, 2011: Two members of Lost in Time played at the Oregon Coast Aquarium for the Oyster Cloyster, a fund raiser for Oregon Coast Community College's Aquarium Science Program.
