Recorder Residency at Sitka Center

 

An important program at Sitka Center for Art and Ecology is artist residencies. Members of the Oregon Coast Recorder Society have raised over $80,000 to establish a recorder residency at Sitka Center, which began in 2003. This program offers an opportunity each year for a recorder player to spend a few months in the spring working on a project at Cascade Head on the Oregon Coast. Tish Berlin and Frances Blaker shared the 2011 recorder residency.

If you are interested in applying for the recorder residency, please do so through Sitka Center. Applications for the spring of 2013 must be postmarked by April 20, 2012.
